2006 Varmint Hunt Rules

  1. You may hunt anywhere in the United States or Canada as long as you follow that state’s or province’s DNR rules and have a proper license.
  2. No snowmobiles, ATV’s or 6 wheelers are to be used for any reason.
  3. We reserve the right to delay awards to ensure all rules were followed.
  4. All ties are broken by weight of heaviest animal.
  5. Points will be awarded for each animal
    a. 3 Points for each coyote
    b. 2 points for each fox
  6. You must return to Streiff Sporting Goods store andcheck in by noon on Sunday, January 15th.
  7. You may team up with other teams to make drives and such, but there can be no help from anyone not in the tournament. You must split the animals shot on the drives.
  8. Check in will be at Streiff’s on Sunday starting at 11:30am and ending at 12:00 noon. Please set your clocks with the clock at the front tills. This is the clock we will be going by.
  9. Each team will be given 20 Rubber Bands and 15 Arrow shafts. The arrow shaft is to be placed in the animals mouth. Then rubber banded to hold in place.
    In the event you shoot more than 15 varmints use the extra 5 rubber bands to make a figure 8 on mouth with tongue out the left side of animal.
  10. All varmints will be donated.
  11. There will be a mandatory meeting at Streiff Sporting Goods on Friday, January 13th at 6:00pm.
