The 16" G2 Recon is just as battle ready as the original .308 Recon, but weighing less means, you can run it at your next high round count carbine course without needing to bulk up your upper body first. 16" stainless steel bead blasted barrel, DPMS hunter gas block, 4 rail free-float tube, and MagPul® MOE pistol grip and stock.
The 16" G2 Compact Hunter lives up to its name, combining big-game punch in a lightweight MSR platform. It's loaded with features but light enough to carry all day. The 16" lightweight stainless steel barrel is Teflon-coated and has a target crown, enhanced carbon fiber free float tube, Hogue grip and B5 Sopmod stock. The G2 features forged upper/lower receivers, reduced mass/monolithic bolt carrier, reduced weight, lighter recoil, improved bolt, barrel extension, and beveled mag well. The biggest improvement to the G2 may just be one of the smallest parts. The bolt carrier group houses an improved round extractor with dual ejectors. The duel ejector system reduces the ejector spring fatigue. Through duplicity, the likely hood of a failed ejection is significantly reduced.

Based on the innovative 300 ACC® Blackout® cartridge, the Blackout® is offered in 2 configurations. Both are 16" heavy, 4150 chromlined, equipped with the new DPMS M111 modular free float tube, allowing you to choose how much rail you want, and where you want them. This rifle is either equipped with an Advanced Armament Corp® Blackout® suppressor adapter or an inert, slipover mock suppressor. The 300 ACC® Blackout® requires no special bolts, or not special magazines. Built to bridge the gap between the Sporting and Tactical markets, this introductory level carbine features a 16" light contour barrel, an A3 Upper receiver with Picatinny Rail, heat dissipating GlacierGuards? and a collapsible, six-position Pardus? buttstock. Altogether, it weighs in at only 6.6 lbs. The flat top A3 upper allows the shooter to mount the optic of their choice the Picatinny Rail.
