Our newest camp knife is the right tool for every campsite chore-from clearing brush to making kindling. It's the perfect outdoor and survival tool. Cut, chop, slash, hack, split, scrape-just about any task you ask of it, it can handle. And, of course, zombies don't stand a chance. The Camp 10 has a big 10-inch carbon-steel blade with non-reflective powdercoat. There's both a front and a rear lanyard hole for versatile carrying. The Camp 10 is full tang with a rubber overmold on the handle.
"Parang" is a general term for large knives or machetes with designs that originate in and around Malaysia in Southeast Asia. They are designed to handle the woodier brush and foliage found in the jungles of that area. But of course, the Camp 12 will easily handle the "jungle" in your area, too. The full-tang 12-inch Camp 12 blade is built of tough MN65 steel, a durable carbon steel designed for hard-use applications. To further protect the steel, we add a handsome black-oxide finish. The blade is designed to be balanced forward of the handle to enable efficient cutting strokes. The Camp 12's glass-filled nylon handle is contoured and textured for a secure grip. A lanyard hole at both back and front enables you to add your own lanyard where you want it. The Camp 12 comes with its own lightweight blade guide so that you can carry all this steel without weighing yourself or your gear down.
Switching a pocketclip, tightening a screw, or adjusting the pivot tensionnow Kershaw owners have the right tool for most every adjustment: the new TX-Tool. The TX-Tool is our new and improved T-Tool. It includes five key bits for adjusting your Kershaws: T-6, T-8, T-10, and a #2 Phillips® for most Kershaws, plus a slotted screwdriver bit for the pivot of the KershawEmersons. A magnetic bit driver tip makes it easy to change bits. Even better, all bits store conveniently inside the TX-Tool's handle. A pocketclip, with a cutout Kershaw logo K, makes it easy to carry the TX-Tool wherever you go.
