Once again, they never cease to amaze me with the quality of their optics! Best out there! Hands down!
I've taken my scope to the range a few times now and I cannot get over how clear the glass is. AO and Power adjustments are smooth and clean, turrets are a good click. reticle focus is perfect. All in all, a A+ scope.
Just got my scope back from leupold customer service and was very happy with what they did definitely would not hesitate to contact them or send any of my scopes back with any questions or problems great company to deal with
I bought a vari-x 2 scope 2-7-33mm in 1998 or 1999, put it on my 303 british than on my Sig m970 270 winchester. I fell on my back under a hilly iced up power line here in Quebec Canada, and was worried i lost my zero...or worst, broke the scope. I shot three rounds on a target, and you guessed it!!!! Bull's eye!!!! My other scope would never have done this. Leupold fan for life!!!!! Even better, listen to this people. I brought my old 303 british to a gunsmith to have a synthetic stock installed. The guy dipped my whole gun in thinner to remove gunk on it and used a varsol brush to scrub everything, scope included. My heart sunk!!!! I told the guy he shouldn't have put my optic in the thinner, and never went there again. Never fogged, never nothing!!!! Unbelievable!!!!
Iam 73 started hunting when I was 12 my first rifle a pre 64 Winchester model 70 in 270 cal my uncle bought the rifle for me so I could hunt with my dad and uncle's. We were farmers and the whole family hunted .day after thanksgiving we all went to potter co to hunt deer.my first scope was Leupold 4power on that 270, 62 years still buying LEUPOLD .thanks Leupold
I live in Canada & have been away from metalic small bore silhouette competition for 35 years. My equipment consisted of a Sako FinFire .22 & a Leupold 6.5-20x50. Retired & going back to the sport. Have now a CZ American .22. Purchased a Leupold 6-18x40 Target Dot. The dot is pretty much invisible! Contacted Leupold & was told that was all that was available for that scope & for $135 + S/H a larger dot could be inserted. ?????? Not acceptable! Have trusted & used Leupold for all my scope needs, hunting/competition rifle & pistol. Will now purchase another brand & NOT recomend Leupold scopes.
I purchased two of these scopes for an elk hunting trip this year. My son shot his first elk the morning after Thanksgiving. I shot my first elk that following Sunday morning at 390 yards across a canyon!
Actually haven`t used the scope yet, but I`m 70 years old and have owned Leupold scopes for many years, and I see no reason to change brands when I`m already using the best!
I have this scope with the LR reticle mounted on a Browning X-Bolt FLD .30-06. I've used this for hog and deer hunting with great results. Paired with the Hornady American Whitetail 150 gr Interlock SP. for distances out to 150 yards this combo is deadly accurate. The scope provides a very clear view in low light. I wouldn't have anything else...and it looks great!
I bought a leupold rifle scope for my Browning BAR had to save up the money to get it and now I am not sorry at all was hunt in western Wisconsin in the big hills I call the mountains I was in a tree stand at the top of the hill and could see thought the trees 200 plus yards had a nice buck walking about half way down the mountain in front of me and decided to take it. after the shot the buck slide down about fifty yards so I went to go retrieve the buck on my way down the mountain I lost my footing and on my back I was on my way down the mountain on the fast track wail sliding down I hit my scope on a tree and busted off the flip up scope cover and filled the end of the scope with bark off a tree thought my scope was done with after some bad words and a hard retrieve I got back to camp and cleaned the end of the scope out well it was it time see if I could site the scope back in three shots and never had to adjust scope at all it was spot on never in my life would I ever had believed Leupold scopes could be so tuff I am now a believer and will be buying one for my black powder rifle
